Anyone here seen or used a peep or aperture sight on a Contender Carbine? If so, who made it and how was it mounted?
I am..........disturbed.

The Williams Guide Receiver Sight fits in the rear scope base holes. Adjustments are via "loosen the screw and slide", then tighten. $39.95 as per the catalog I have (pdf). WMS 9671
I've used a couple on other guns. Very light and tidy.
The same catalog lists a Foolproof sight for the G2. WMS 36890
Also for original Contender WMS 1376.
If you want target knobs, you might have to order direct. 800-530-9028
Maybe you should call anyway in case I've made a whoopsie whilst switching back and forth. I'm old, you know.
What fresh Hell is this?

I've got one of the Williams on my 21 inch 44 barrel. It's perfect for me, nice lightweight and simple. It provides my aging eyes with a good sight picture.

If it’s drilled and tapped just put a rail on it and a rail mounted peep.

I will. Just as soon as I figure out what to do about a front sight.
