For sale is my 1955 Winchester Model 70 Featherweight in .30-06. This gun has been used but not abused by previous owners. Original gun except for the a new Winchester brand red recoil pad added when I bought it about 5 years ago. Also missing is the front sight hood, and the rear site is not original either. I bought the gun as a project gun and never got around to the project. I have never shot it but chances are it is a good shooter as these often are. Bore looks clean and sharp.
This gun comes with a factory low comb stock with original finish and checkering. Also included in the deal is the vintage Lyman All-American 4X scope (with vintage leather scope lens covers) and vintage Weaver bases and rings. A vintage leather strap is included too (original?).
I live in California and am willing to ship at buyers cost. No funny business here, just looking to sell because my interests have changed.
