rattler, I have the 260. It'll slick up..... I think you'll hate the factory bases. I swapped mine out with talleys after a couple years. When I got mine the windage ones were the only game in town. 3x9 compact on it. Love it........

I agree on the sub-moa thing. If mine will put three under 1.5" I'm going hunting.

Huntsman.............yeah i know it will slick up....not worried about that.......already starting to as i made up a couple dummy rounds and have run them through a bunch of times but its scratching the brass so theres a damn bur somewhere. i was in love with the lil Rem 7 action..............i still hate the damn wing safety on this but when it comes down to it i carry a gun with an empty chamber anyways so a safety is kinda a moot point this rifle is quickly growing on me

rattler, the wing safety will grow on ya, too..... Especially if you carry it in a scabbard. The three position's bolt lock is great for keeping the action from opening, whether on horse or foot in the brush. Yeah, I know, it's not hard to check 'em once in a while........Don
