I have a chance to buy one of these for a reasonably good price
Are they a reliable scope for dialing and long range use?

Mine was a piece of fhuqking schit,NIB out of the box and would neither track or hold zero,on my heaviest 6BR. Sent it back, waited a coupla months and got a LRTSi as a replacement.

MUCH prefer it's reticle.

Pass the 6x MQ and hold the fhuqking Fluff.

Hint......................

I have one on a 28 Nosler that hasn’t had any issues with a fair amount of shooting. I had another one on a 26 Nosler that went belly up. Sent it in for warranty repair and came back all good.

Did they denote the mechanical woe(s)?

They wouldn't tell me a thing, other than they couldn't fix it.....................

No, they didn’t say what was wrong. The rifle went from shooting .6” groups to 3-4” groups. After dinking around with the gun for a while, I put my other LRHS on the rifle and it went back to shooting. I put the defective one back on just to make sure I wasn’t missing anything and it was shooting 4” groups again.

Mine wandered like a Mad Woman going to take a schit.

No rhyme or reason..............

I'm not doubting Stick's and Chico's problem, but Formidilosus sees more scopes and more rounds than anyone and he is really high on the LRHS, saying its in the same class as his two favorites, NF and SWFA.

The one on my 28 Nosler is subjected to decent recoil and is fantastic.

The LTRSi reticle, rates beating the LRHSi with a hammer...to get the new.

Unfortunately,mine wouldn't even "absorb" a 13#+ 6BR's "recoil"...………………….(grin)
