Jordan,
What is that little ammo carrying thingy? Kinda neat.
Lefty That's a SAP 2-round holder. I use that rifle as my comp trainer, and there are some stages where you need 11 or 12 rounds total, and grabbing a round or two off the holder can be faster than a mag change. Could also be pretty handy for a single-shot hunting rifle.

Looking good Casle Rock. Let us know how it performs if you don't mind. The rifle as pictured performs beautifully but the ergonomics sucked, I just yanked the scope and rail, it will get a 3-9 hunting scope

Does Sportsmatch have any of the extended mounts for Tikkas?

A lot of guys seem to like that look and probably don't care that it's totally unbalanced. Maybe it's good for hunting out of blinds, but when you have to pack a rifle around in hand all day long, you learn what you like and what you don't like in a hurry........ Good luck with your search man... Hope you find what you are looking for. That is a nice rifle, deserving of a nice optic.. Maybe try a Swaro? They are nice and light and the glass is hard to beat...
I try to stick with the basics, they do so well. Nothing fancy mind you, just plain jane will get it done with style. You want to see an animal drop right now? Shoot him in the ear hole. BSA MAGA

I have that same big and heavy scope n my Tikka CTR in 6.5 Creed with a I think is a 30 MOA from Anarchy and the four screw Nightforce titanium rings. I don't see a problem coming with the scope not being held securely and the heavy rifle and mild recoiling cartridge will help every thing to stay put.
I also do not plan on hunting with the beast of a rifle as it is to big and heavy for my tastes and age. It is a fun long range bench shooter for me. The T3X Superlite Creed with the 3-9 SWFA will go hunting for caribou soon with my Granddaughter and me. The Superlite has the same rings and a rail from Mt. Tactical.

I’m a little older so weight is always a concern for me. I’m running a T3X Super Lite in 6.5CM with a Leopold Backcountry 20 MOA base and mark 4 rings in aluminum. Tough set up to beat. Under 7 pounds scoped.
The world is full of bastards, the number increasing rapidly the further one gets from Missoula, MT

you didn't have the front ring slid forward as far as it should have been. you still had almost a inch of room to move it forward and some room to move the rear mount back farther.

If you are referring to the original setup, you have no idea what you are talking about, but thanks for your input.
