62 gr. TTSX works good on pigs in the .223. I wouldn't go heavier but would probably go lighter.

Also look at Nosler E-Tip bullets, similar to Barnes TTSX, poly tip solid copper that is available in 55 gr and very accurate.

The 62 Barnes or the 62 Bear Claw is your huckleberry for hunting. The 62 Bear Claw is the FBI load for windshield penetration. They slay pigs as well as the Barnes and are cheaper.

Not one you asked about but to confuse things more you may want to look at the Nosler 60 gr. Partition. I've had great performance in both .223 and 22-250 on Wt's and javelina.
