I picked up a NIB T3 Forest in 7mag specifically to build my own 6.5PRC, but the more I look at it, the more I like the 270, 280, or 280AI for my self-imposed range limits.

I've seen more well-shot game lost with TSXs than any other premium bullet.

I wouldn't wait, just grab your donor tikka and go. I did a stainless t3x with a bartlien 2b barrel cut at 22 then muzzle brake added. I have plenty of magazine length and it feeds flawless. I will pick it up this week

Range limits? A 7mm 180 eld-m will outrun any 6.5 on this planet.
Good bullets properly placed always work, but not everyone knows what good bullets are, or can reliably place them in the field

I've been waiting on a 6CM chamering for my kid, maybe one day. These kids we’re loving them some Tikka 6 Creed. 87 Vmax at 3200 outta the suppressed 20” Benchmark.... 350ish yards... not a miss.
You better pray to the God of Skinny Punks that this wind doesn't pick up......

Hmm. Can’t imagine a 6.5 PRC reamer wouldn’t totally clean up a 6.5 CM chamber.......

I have thought the same thing myself. I like the looks of the 6.5 RCM but I rarely shoot anything past 350 yards.

That part of the comment was meant more for the 270, and even that isn't much difference until well past where I intend to shoot.

Any word if Tikka is gong to chamber in 6.5 PRC? I spoke with Tikka directly about this a few months ago, was told “there are no production plans for 2019.”

As stick and Trystan note, the 180 ELD-M makes a hard argument for things 7mm...
