Narrowed down to cherry, pumpkin, peach, or Bourbon/pecan.

All are now off limits...pre-diabetes...

Coconut Cream. That other stuff is for cobblers.

Peach makes great cobbler and a terrific pie, my favorite.
But I sure won’t turn down any fruit pie or banana cream.

Pie! I love ‘em all!

A great apple pie is a thing of beauty. Blueberry, blackberry, cherry.......all fabulous as well.

I love the custard type pies too. Lemon meringue and key lime are both outstanding and may be the only time I prefer a graham cracker crust.

Pecan is often a might too sweet. Coconut is passable.

I like Saskatoons and huckleberries mixed 50/50, Saskatoons for sweetness and huckleberries for flavor. That makes a GREAT pie!! cool cool

Strawberry Rhubarb is awesome but no places seem to know how to keep it tart like it should be. Oversweetened is not good.
I just make a strawberry rhubarb crunch dessert and literally use half or less sugar than the recipe calls for. More filling than pie, no crust, but a crunchy crumbly top

Favorite is tough. Apple, cherry, pecan and huckleberry are real good. I made an apple pie last night and just had a piece. Yep, apple is my favorite.

Another pick is Caramel pie. With a lump of vanilla ice cream/or real whip cream.

Wife does that up, 2 cans of Eagle brand in a crockpot for several hours, the sweet conds milk turns into caramel.

Poured in a graham cracker crust and chill for a few hours in the fridge

But you'd better be tough. Will put a diabetic into a coma, will make some of ya'll with them rotten teeth ache like a mofo.

😄👍
