It's rough.

I'm interested in hearing some personal experiences and assessments of this cartridge. I often think I should get one but already have the 22-250 and some say you can't practically beat the performance of the -250 with the Swift. I am one of those... However, that said I own a number of rifles all chambered the same.....so which makes more sense? As mentioned...if you want a .220 Swift...get one! +1 Scratch your itch. If nothing else you can have some fun playing with one. If you decide it isn't for you, you can always sell or trade it. I have 8 rifles in .30 and am considering a .300 PRC. If not that, another 6.5 or 7mm is likely. Redundant, yes, but not a problem.

No, I'm not a Ruger bigot - just an unabashed fan of their revolvers, M77's and #1's.
A good .30-06 is a 99% solution.
