Gents:
PTG makes a nice DBM bottom metal I have used on a R700. Thinking about improving a RAR with one of PTG's variants.
Has anyone tried this one? I have an earlier .308 RAR that's a keeper but detest the problematic rotary mags they come with. Way prefer the AICS pattern mags.
Is there anything else decent out there other than the PTG?
Thanks in advance!

Call Ruger customer service. They have a new non-rotary single stack magazine available for the 308 family of cartridges. I just got one a couple of weeks ago. Supposed to be available for sale soon. I like the new magazine over the old rotary style.

Thanks in advance! If you have a stock with exchangeable BM, then the factory Ruger AICS BM works okay. If not, this is a good option: https://cdiprecisiongunworks.com/dbm-listing-2017.html

The bushmaster isn't flush fit. It sticks down about a half an inch.

Don't order anything from PTG unless it is shown in stock ready to ship. I am going on 5 months waiting for an extended magazine and bottom metal. I wouldn't mind except they ran the full charge already, seems like I should be getting interest on my loan to the company.
