. I am having a strange problem with a Colt 45.
I just bought a used Colt 45 Pietta at Pawn-1 a couple of days ago for $159.99. It cocks and dry fires nicely. (It is an Italian Import brought in by Cabela's and retails for $350 - $400 at Cabelas.)

you have the cylinder rod in too far and it is on safe...therefore will not fire. did i guess your problem correctly???
