Its all my buddy drinks and he is one of the wealthiest ranchers around.
I can drink the hell out of that stuff. Especially if its out of his beer fridge!

If you ask for potato salad up there you'll get a raw potato, a radish, and a bottle of blue cheese dressing. So keep that in mind. Love it! 😂 Jim, brisket can be pretty bad.. it really is simple to cook just takes temp and time. While you can do about anything on a Weber kettle it’s a little touchy for brisket.. if I’m tending it anyway. I use an offset stick/charcoal smoker, it’ll do a brisket on a single burn but I don like tending it so I finish mine souse vide.

My second attempt was much better.
I dont get good smoke with my gas grill.
My chips make smoke but there are too many gaps in the lid to bank the smoke down into the meat.
It smells amazing when its cooking however!
I am thinking third times a charm.....with some different equipment.
I have a bunch of other things planned for the kettle....not just brisket.

I can’t drink that stuff. When I was younger I’d drink Busch and keystone light like it was the good stuff, just can’t stand it now. My brother still thinks it’s the best tho.
I sure wish we could get yuengling here. It’s my cheap favorite.

Spent the weekend at the lake with a group of friends / relatives and took along the small Green Mountain Grill. Did bone in ribeyes Saturday night and my first brisket yesterday. Brisket turned out great and was gone in short order...

We just bought a quarter from my cousin. I saved a brisket this time as well. Gonna give it a whirl.
