Drive through Jackson on Broadway past the square and a couple miles you will run into the National Elk Refuge. The road is now open through the refuge and into the Bridger-Teton national forest beyond. Drive up Curtiss creek for some stunning views of the Tetons.

We had a terrible breakfast dining experience there. Crappy food, disinterested/rude wait staff, and prices out of sync with both the quality and quantity of food. You might have a better experience at the Bunnery than we did, but maybe not.

I agree with lvmiker about taking in the Tetons. The iconic Moulton Barns (there actually are two that show up in a lot of photographs) are located in Mormon Row which is off Antelope Flats Road a few miles north of the airport. The drive along the face of the Tetons along Teton Park Road is very pretty. When heading back to town, the Moose-Wilson Road is gravel and dirt and a bit rough, but the scenery is nice and grizzly sightings are not unusual. There is a park visitor center with a museum at the Moose entrance.

The White Buffalo Club in Jackson. My wife and I had a great meal there.

You like bourbon and will be in Park City so the obvious choice is High West Distillery in Wanship UT, or at least their saloon in Park City proper.

Managed to escape Park City without having to choke “mr man bun”. Nice ride up to Jackson, looking forward to exploring.
Thanks to all for your suggestions.

Billy Blanco's has a great interior. And is known for terrible food. I thought it was and my my friends also think so.

Uncle joe: Be sure and have breakfast at the "new and improved" Bubba's in Jackson!
Then for lunch be sure and try Bubba's!
And the best place in town for dinner is Bubba's!
Warning - we were there a few months ago (late February!) and there were 32 (thirty two!) people in line ahead of us waiting for tables at breakfast time on a Saturday!
It was well worth the short wait.
Be sure and visit the Visitors Center in Jackson and the various art galleries in town.
Ski lift rides to the tops of some of the ski areas offer fantastic views - they run in the summer also.
Enjoy.

Kinda hard to compare. As far as beauty in town? Parkcity hands down. Chicks in Park City mind blowing... Jackson was well just jackson. horns boardwalks. Million dollar cowboys bar had line dancing once a week and bad ass Rocky Mountain Oysters. Out skirts of Jackson Mind blowing as far s wildlife. Teton Village(not in Jackson) awesome. Nite life? Park city. As a hunter Jackson is amazing. As a nightlife guy and a skier Park City. OMG the chicks in ParkCity were off the charts. Sun Valley Idaho The best of both worlds. Lived in Jackso for two years and Sun Valley for three. I'd take Sun Valley over Jackson in a heart beat.
