McDonalds coffee is the best thing they sell. Good if fresh.

Mickey D's and Burger King both are hard for me to stomach. Most towns in New England have multiple Dunkin which is good. Most of the stores around here have Green Mountain Coffee which is very good. Personally i hate Starbucks coffee.

Starbucks or most any little non chain.
Anyone that says they dislike Starbucks has not had their Cafe Estima blend, black or with a splash of milk.

Around here there’s coffee stands everywhere. I have my favorite stand and favorite drink and if I’m traveling I’ll bring a bottle of my favorite flavor so I can whip up my own concoction. If I’m going fishing or have limited options I’ll drink whatever coffee is available.

Not much compares to what I make at home or at the shop, but I have a rule: no more than 30 seconds should elapse between the time the beans are ground and the hot water hits 'em. Also, I make it very strong, because that's what makes it smooth.

On the road, it's hard to beat Starbucks. I don't care if they are a bunch of Seattle Snowflake outposts, they know what they're doing when it comes to coffee. If someone doesn't like their coffee, they don't like coffee. Tim Hortons or Dunkin Donuts I can handle. A lot of the convenience stores now have the coffee makers with the built in grinder so you can get a pretty decent cup of fresh ground coffee.

I really like to hit the Mom and Pop greasy spoon places for coffee. Yes, it takes a little longer to get in and out that at a walk up counter or convenience store, but they most always have good coffee.

Up here in western PA we've got Sheets everywhere. They're kinda like 7/11 convenience stores. They've got by far the best coffee around. Their MTO takeout food ain't bad either.
If we're out on the interstate I hit the Pilot or Flying J truck stops.
Anything else is usually a crap shoot as far as hot & fresh goes.

We never drank it at home, i learned buying it in truckstops and C-stores.
Can drink anything, some is better than others, but other than dark roast or
Sumatra, I really can't say what I like.

I refuse to visit the fancy schmance coffee house,
unless desperate.

Sheetz coffee is definitely good stuff.

But, on the road, I'll hit every Tim Horton's I pass.

Truck stops, convenience store gas stops, what ever, I get rich or dark roast & break it down with a Amaretto or the like cappuccino. I might pour out a bit to get it right, but who's watching.. I i'm on the road long enough to run out of my own cup, Who cares.

I'm not sure how far their region extends, but around here they have a chain of gas station/mini marts called "Speedway".

They put a lot of emphasis on their self serve coffee set up. The one I used to regularly stop at was always busy at 6:00 AM. They have 4 or 5 different blends of coffee and all kinds of creamers, and sweeteners. It's cheap too. The big cup was $1.50.

At 6:00 AM when everybody is stopping in to get their morning coffee they always have somebody working the coffee stand,...keeping it clean and making sure everything is correct.

Some of you need to trade in your taste buds.

Once i'm out of the gallon I brought in my two oversized Stanleys its either dunkin or full service Chevron coffee.

When I hit states that have a Kum N Go Ill stop there or real nice truck stops.

McDs and Charbucks no thanks.
