My friend, I am glad to see you are back. I hope you start posting again. I mostly just read last couple years, and then usually just news updates. Rarely post anymore, just occasionally to have some fun. We're all doing well up here. Kids are growing fast and I don't want to miss any more of it than I have to. Internet is kind of a waste of time...

I just don't care. Scott has been on my ignore list for many years. Mine too. While I appreciate Rick for allowing people to say what's on their mind, and giving us a very long rope, there should be a limit as to how far one can go when it comes to constantly trashing other members for no reason other than the fact that they're an azzhole.

I view Scott, the same as I do road killed possum, it was just a possum , its dead, and oh well I won't give it another thought until I see another road killed possum, and then its just the realization that neither of them' Scott or dead possums have any redeeming qualities, and so if I never see or hear either one again, well so what !

I used to suffer his affliction, that being, always speaking your opinion no matter how insulting it is, was somehow a noble trait.
I learned just because I believe my opinions to be truth, some things should be held back. Well, not everyone can handle a lethal dose of truth, some people get really irritated, so I learned to stop. Scott either never learned, or could care less who he irritates. I rubbed a few people wrong, people I really respected.
I think most of us have been guilty of that before, I know I sure have. I’m prone to get having a bad day and biting back but like most things in life these forums have a learning curve and as time goes by and we realize how many good men there are here and we want to do better, we want our responses to honor rather than disrespect those we hold in high esteem, at least that’s how I’ve learned to come to think about my online responses. I’m human and I’m sure I’ll get my feathers ruffled again but I’ve learned to type out my post and hold off for awhile before coming back to it and deciding whether it’s something I want to say or if it’s better to just move on. He's entirely too caustic. I can't imagine what it'd be like to be mired in that level of negativity. An occasional pointed post has a place. The forum is a better place without that constant crap.

Nothing wrong with being opinionated.
I sure am, and express them.
However, one can be respectful and civil in their language.
My favorite conversations are with the rare person who has a different view,
and my attitude.
One can learn things that way.
Scott is probably in Yankee land with his in-laws.
When he gets back, he'll be his usually cranky self.
I think there have been some problems (health?) in his family.
His tone has got much worse in the last while.
Parents who say they have good kids..Usually don't!
