On Thursday, 2020 Democratic presidential hopeful and Massachusetts Sen. Elizabeth Warren, aka, Pocahontas, reintroduced the Refund Equality Act.

This bill allows married same-sex couples to amend previous tax returns from the IRS and change their filing status from single to married to receive tax refunds.

According to Pocahontas,

“The federal government forced legally married same-sex couples in Massachusetts to file as individuals and pay more in taxes for almost a decade,” Warren said in a statement. “We need to call out that discrimination and to make it right — Congress should pass the Refund Equality Act immediately.”

Don't particularly care what the courts and government says about it, same sex couples can not be married, they can be couples, they can be shacked up, they can be in defacto relationships...but marriage is for male/female couples.

Seems to be a contest for the LGBTXYZ vote. Flipping through C-SPAN tonight I hit on Julian Castro speaking at a Planned Infanticide event. He promised, if elected, that the LGBTQ community would have equal access to "reproductive rights," aka government paid abortions. One of us is missing something.

I will not comment on the queer parts, but in my opinion, all should pay the same. Single people should not have to pay more that married people, just the same. Take a family wages and divide it by the number of people and you have the wages to tax. Another tax thing that always seemed unfair to me was the fact that a working person could not deduct the cost of getting to work, like car expenses. It is a direct cost for making his money, just like a tractor and fuel is to a farmer. miles

The feds already recognize sodomy as legitimate, tax-wise. This would make it retroactive.
The government has an interest in promoting the common good. Promoting sodomy and singleness is not in the common good. A people's strength is in their reproduction.
