Why else would anyone vote for these pukes?! Offering free stuff is all they've got!
I wonder how many potential voters could be involved in 1.6 Trillion of student loan debt that could benefit from his plan?
A husband and wife, mom and dad, grandparents? One student loan could possibly involve 4 or 5 people, maybe average out to 3?
3X each individual loan = ? votes......
It's all about votes....
Copied right from Wikipedia so there could be a good margin of error
Approximately 45 million people have student loan debt. In 2018, the average average student loan borrower owed $37,172 in student loans at the time of graduation, an increase of $20,000 from 2005. In 2017, Americans owed approximately $552 billion more on student loan debt than they owed on credit card debt.45 million X 3, that's a fair amount of votes, even a small percentage of that number could turn an election.
Makes for a valid game plan considering how many could buy into it...
Would Bernie Sanders really be able to make this happen once in office?
It wouldn't matter, all he'd have to do is make any attempt and when/if he gets shot down by the Right, it'll be all there fault.
Just a matter of being able to properly place blame after he is elected.
It reminds me a good bit of the creation of "Affordable Health Care", the idea of it swayed voters.
It was all about the votes.
That was followed up with the promise of the elimination of "Affordable Health Care Act"?
How'd that work out?
It was all about the votes...
Every president has swayed voters with promises of things that never materialize. They don't even need a plan to make it happen they just have to sell the idea.
It doesn't matter, It's just all about the votes at the time. Oh yeah, and properly placing blame where needed to distance themselves from not being able to produce on their promises if they plan to run for a second term.
These tactic have always been successfully used by ALL to win elections. No administration is innocent of it.
Not to pick on or point at our current administration, but I'm pointing, just cause it's easy.
The events of the last few weeks are easier to understand for me when I view it from this prospective, be it right or wrong.
Bad Poll Numbers, the lefts double digits ahead...
The following week.
Going soft on immigration promises, going soft on Iran threats, etc. = pandering to left voters...
It's all about the votes.
