Thank you, Captain Ambien.

Perhaps if you made sense from time to time you'd find more people agreeing with you.

I'll have to check myself when the chucklehead brigade starts agreeing with me.

Bristoe, I'm hurt. I'd follow you anywhere if we could just move faster than 3 feet at a time.

But again, I guess a real leader like you is hindered by the depth (and length) of your vision......... And also by a general lack of depth of intelligence beyond what your Google-foo provides.

It is extremely very obvious that the "system" that is supposed to be in place to deal with illegal immigrants does not work. It does not work because the Democrats want the basturds to come here for their votes, and the Republicans like the cheap labor, plus are stupid enough thinking that if they're nice to them, they'll get some of the Hispanic vote. So, along comes Donald J. Trump in 2016 and he tells the American people that if elected, he's going to fix the immigration problem, he's going to build a wall and make Mexico pay for it, and blah blah blah, so on and so forth........and lo and behold, he is elected president.

Now, thank God that Hillary wasn't elected, as that would have been an unmitigated disaster. But, what has Trump REALLY done to fix the immigration problem? The answer is that he's pizzed in the wind, for the most part. I so damn sick and tired of hearing how he can't get anything done because the Democrats AND most of his own party are against him......so what else is new, we know that, it's been that way all along. You shouldn't go around making promises you know you can't keep, or in Trump's case, I believe he was just saying what he had to say in order to get elected.

I am glad he is president, he has done some good things, and I will gladly vote for him again......because there really is no alternative. But, I do not hang on his every word and drink the Trump-aid as many of you on here do. His strong suit has been the economy, and his two picks to the SCOTUS. He is weak on guns, wishy-washy on things like the Norks and Iran, and to me, a disappointment on the illegals, and I could care less what anyone else thinks.

Good post, IMO.

The SCOTUS and the lower federal court system is the only real hope to possibly stop the left. And it definitely needs more players in white hats than it has now.

No candidate is ever going to provide the entire list for one side of the argument. All we can hope for is that the SCOTUS will provide the checks and balances that it is designed to provide. Time will tell, and time is running short.

I think he probably didn’t know that about everybody! who mattered politically would oppose him on the wall being a political neophyte and outsider. He certainly wouldn’t know that from the rallies while campaigning where the roof was raised every time he mentioned fixing our immigration disaster.

Wish-washy on the Norks? Trump’s the only one who has ever gone to visit rocket man and seriously negotiate with him and you’ll notice as far as we know rocket boy hasn’t lit any more fuses since.

Ditto with Iran. He scratched out Obama’s idiotic nuclear pact with them and is turning the sanction vice-grips on. Just because he called that strike back? That was probably a good thing. Let Iran’s people rise up and throw the mullahs out — a potentially much better result than knocking one facility out.

I’m not a Trump sycophant but right now there isn’t a career Republican alive who would have accomplished what he’s done considering the circumstances.

Best scenario, he wins in 2020... but then what happens in 2026?

The left, democrats, liberals, communist, socialist, islamites, the news media, and globalist want power/control of the American people. They hate Americans, the Constitution, and the USA. They are all enemies and traitors of America. They are using immigration/illegals to change the demographics of our once great nation. Globalists are turning it into a 2nd rate country they can control. That is the end game! Educated Christians which can think and have guns cannot be controlled by government.

And the calling that strike against Iran back might have all been part of a planned scenario. Why? I don’t know but maybe to show America is triggered to strike back overwhelmingly at a perceived attack on us but Trumps good graces concerning collateral life lost saved them.

Think about it — wouldn’t loss of life and collateral damage been one of the first questions a president would ask the generals before a certain strike was initiated, rather than a by-the-way, how many....once assets were in the air?

Most Problems that didn’t happen overnight can’t be expected to be fixed overnight.

And it’s a bit of a catch 22 it would seem. Trump isn’t going to change Dems, period, if he’s to change or clear out Rinos it’s going to have to be from calling them out to the voting public if he did that now or perhaps ever, you’re going to see Dems potentially take both houses. 🤷🏻‍♂️ Maybe the presidency as well.

I agree with your frustration Bristoe, just not your solution. If Trump were to shut down the govt before or perhaps after the next election, I think with the help of the MSM and Rinos, you’d see Dems in power across the board.

To me it’s like having the child dearest to your heart held hostage by a serial rapist/killer. You’ve got your AR-15 in hand, and he’s got a pistol pointed at your child’s head. Do you spray and pray to make sure you kill him ? Or are you forced into picking your shot carefully ?

If he were to shut down the govt ( which I personally love btw as it’s the only times I’ve seen the promise of less govt fulfilled ) that’s spray and pray imo. What’s his best shot ? I’m not sure. But if I were him, I’d not shut down the govt. I’d fight the Dems w their own meds.

I’d have a professionally done video of 2-5 minutes, I’d distribute it to every major news agency, and I’d shut them out of press briefing s until they’d run it from airing it on their nightly news.

It would show funerals of those killed by illegal aliens, it would show tearful mothers and fathers calling for border control, like Dems call for gun control everytime there’s a tragedy involving a gun. “What if it just saved one child? What if that child were yours? I wish it could have been my child saved due to strong borders ? “

It’d show the littered and cut fences of Ranchers and the fear rampant illegality left unchecked causes in our fellow Americans left at the tip of the spear.

And then Trump should appear and say I was elected to represent all Americans, as you’ve seen some of our fellow Americans are at great risk. Why ? Because we as a nation, the mightiest nation on the planet, can’t find the will to enforce the laws in place for many, many years to protect our borders. So some folks can get their grass cut really cheap ?

Understanding concepts, then drawing conclusions based on data id the definition of IQ. Another cognitive limit is comparing multiple concepts, and ordering their rank in a decision. Again lower IQ does not allow this rational process. So a one dimensional view is the best some can muster. I think this is a hallmark of the dems and other simple people. Simple views that are not rational based on facts. Sheep to be used.

President Trump's approval rating is near 50% on a good day. Congress has never been over 30% in a decade, and it hovers around 21% now. So on a bad day, President Trump is two times more respectable than congress.
So congress owns disappointment.

That makes you sound all Jungian. But it doesn't take such an in depth diagnosis to understand why many of Trump's supporters are very disappointed in him.

Trump talked long and loud about stopping illegal immigration during the campaign. It was the main theme of his campaign.

More illegals are coming in now than ever.

As for understanding politics,..I understand them all too well.

It takes a very strong leader to overcome the pressures that the political establishment will place on a President who wants to clean up D.C. Trump gave the impression that he was the candidate strong enough to take them on.

Again,...Trump talked long and loud about "draining the swamp".

Trump hasn't stopped illegal immigration and a large percentage of his administration is made up of the swamp that he went to Washington to "drain".

Trump isn't the President people voted for. He's not strong enough to do what he claimed he was going to do during the campaign.

Trump makes excuses,...Trump's supporters make excuses for him. It's to be expected.

But bottom line,...the swamp isn't getting drained and the illegals haven't been stopped.

Trump isn't the one.

IMHO, we have found out just how deep the swamp and deep state are.

2-1/2 years is but a blip in time as compared to how long both of the above have been entrenching themselves into American policy.

The will to live on is clearly stronger than most realized.

At this point, I think Trump is worried about his brand. The media and political establishment has made his name poison.

He's trying to protect the business empire that he put on hold when he chose to run for the Presidency. He wants it to still be there when he leaves D.C.

He doesn't want to do anything that will cause a cascade of hate to fall on him from the media.

In short,..he's trying to appease the left in order to protect his brand.

Well, it appears that you have TRH, ol mike and gitm in agreement, mission accomplished. Balkanization must be the only answer, if led by a strong leader w/ unlimited power.
