Hello Fire,

The one thing all is hunters and shooters have in common is we all like to fish! I’m hoping a few of you can dig through your old tackle you no longer use and sell me your old generation “cracked frog” kwikfish in sizes k-15 through K-17.. like anything that works really good, it was discontinued and the newer cracked frog just doesn’t work for us as well. We about have all the paint drug off of ours. It is probably in our head but this is our far and away favorite lure.

This is what I’m after.







Thanks for the help! Willing to pay $20-$50 per lure depending on condition.

Color does matter but the most important thing by far is the action. Not all of them swim the same! Even with tuning.

Yes sir! we have found that as well. But we also think the lighter colored belly of these vintage lures really helps the visual at 100-75 feet. the new cracked frog bellies are dark with spots. We only have 3 of these exact lures left and they all look like the above one and they all catch fish better than the rest it seems like. Old reliable. But as it goes with trolling. Only a matter of time before all three are gone.

That was my dads favorite color cept he used a L9 flatfish.
Don’t ask me how I remember that after 40+ years.
