I am 15 miles NE of Sandpoint. Fishing Pend Oreille for kokanee is a good time with many to be had. Lake trout can be scarce IME. As noted above, Priest Lake is loaded with lake trout. Last summer we caught a fair number of them there. If you have time for a beer shoot me a PM.
