If you're in the market for a new truck, nows the time to pull the trigger. Apparently Chevy is making a strong push to get their new truck on the road. 20% of retail on LT Crew Cab 4x4 in July. Its real. Bought one this week. LT's are flexible and can be spec down to work truck options or up to LTZ options. Not to mention the new truck is the best looking truck I've ever seen.

There's a reason they're being out sold by Dodge. They're selling them at a discount in an attempt to stay relevant.

I wouldn't pay 20% of retail for a new Chevy. Your mileage may vary.

I'll hold off. The price of Chevy's ain't low enough for me to buy one just yet... I did buy a new tractor they were incentivizing at close to 30% off MSRP though. I could not resist!

Recently it was time for me a new vehicle. I switch between pickups and suburbans. Previous three were two Duramax and one Tahoe. Kinda wanted a new Tahoe. Then Government motors after taxpayer bailouts layed off a bunch of American workers and moved production over seas. So I bought a Ford. Hasbeen

I love Chevy, but this one is the ugliest version yet. I predict that it will be a two or three year design like the infamous “cat eyes” version that only lasted from 2003 to 2006.

Car and Driver must be haters. Dodge- 201, Ford- 199, Chevy a distant 181.
Broncos are officially the worst team in the nation this year.

We've (heavy construction company) bought over 25 Chevy's; 1/2 ton (both the 5.3 and 6.2) and 3/4 tons (6.0 and Duramax) in the past 4 years, mostly 4x4's. We have an educated guess about what works for us. As another said, YMMV.

I just looked at a local dealer that had Chevy's like I like advertised at 20% off all year. Same trucks today were marked down 26%.
20% off is about standard, shop around.

Barry, I’m really pleased so far. Just don’t put the miles on like I used to. Mileage is impressive. Haven’t used a pencil but the computer says a little over 20 in town. On cruise leveled out at a little over 70 it reads around 30. My last Tahoe got 13 in town. So that’s an improvement. The 10 speed trans also makes the little diesel pretty quick. Hasbeen
