The SDNY has publicly stated that they are going to go after Trump and his family with everything they have.

The SDNY is going to do what Mueller couldn’t do and that is get someone to lie and compose testimony in order to take Trump down.

Epstein was slapped on the wrist years ago by then US Attorney Acosta, now Trump’ s Labor Secretary.

Epstein will testify under oath that Trump did this and Trump did that and appointed Acosta to cover his ass.

Federal prosecutors at the SDNY have arrested Jeffrey Epstein tonight on charges of sex trafficking of minors. Epstein is a friend of Donald Trump, and there are a number of ways in which the Epstein mess directly or indirectly leads back to Trump. So this has led a number of observers to raise the question of whether Trump can simply pardon Epstein and make all this go away.

To be clear, the SDNY is not the State of New York. Instead, the SDNY is the U.S Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of New York, and it brings federal charges, not state charges. Donald Trump can pardon federal charges. So, in legal terms, yes, Trump can pardon Epstein if he wants. But as a practical matter, the pardon would have the opposite effect intended – and as a political matter, it would blow up in Trump’s face.

You can only invoke the Fifth Amendment to protect yourself from criminal liability. If Trump were to pardon Epstein, it would mean that Epstein would no longer be facing any criminal liability. That would mean that Epstein would be legally required to testify against Donald Trump, Secretary of Labor Alexander Acosta, or anyone else who might be involved. That’s the last thing Trump wants. It’s why he never did pardon people like Michael Flynn and Paul Manafort. It’s why he’d be making a mistake by pardoning Epstein.

Epstein will do what Cohen, Manafort, Corsey etc. could not, lie and make shcit up about President Trump.

The SDNY is on a mission, they have stated so publicly.

If they cannot tie Trump to this , and they “honestly” can’t, the media will do what the Deep state orders them to do and “report” that Epstein and Trump are best buds and Trump ( not Clinton) is a big player in this scandal.

The Deep State has A “Plan” also, and this is part of it. Tying Trump to Epstein.

Look for Nadler and company to demand a congressional investigation into Trump’s ties to Epstein.

For the next several weeks we will be reading, watching and hearing how Donald J Trump and Epstein are connected.

Trump's connection to Epstein is the only reason this is getting any press at all. It's probably why he appointed Acosta in the first place. The Epstein sweetheart deal should have been news when it happened, but of course because of the people implicated it was not. There's an interview out there with accuser's attorney that if true (haven't researched who the interviewer/interviewee really are), more than clears Trump. More importantly, what I love about Trump is he will "gladly take those slings and arrows" to expose the scumbags. He probably even set it up this way knowing it's the only way to bring this to the public at large. Look at how many people you know that had never even heard of the NXIVM trial. Even as a purely monetary thing, that trial should have been covered like the OJ Simpson thing. Crickets. I love this President. He's not just the right man, I think he is the ONLY man fit for the job at hand.
