"Fauxahauntus will go to battle with reason trying to explain how having no border controls is a benefit and how the US would never be negatively impacted by uneducated immigrants fleeing chitthole coutries and bringing their problems with them." Would it not be entertaining if someone put the question to her exactly like that? I'd pee my pants - and it has nothing to do with age....

So let's assume for the sake of argument Ted was a worthless liberal coward who refused to be drafted into a military being used in a great stalling maneuver by a government unwilling to go all out 100% to win a war; a government willing to continuing to sacrifice it's own brave soldiers rather than bring total destruction on the enemy. And we could have shut down Hanoi at any time had we been willing and if the objective of a democratic Viet Nam had been of sufficient importance to our well being. Sounds in theory and planning a lot like how our government defends our southern border today; unwilling to win but willing to sacrifice to the Great God of Politics.
But let's assume that was Ted in draft era U.S. Then we must also assume our boy Ted had an epiphany somewhere 40 years or so later that brought him heavily into the 2nd Amendment, personal responsibility, small government mentality.
Assuming all this true......Wouldn't our country be GRAND if only 50% of Worthless Liberal Cowards had that same epiphany along with the willingness to openly fight and do all they are personally able to do to defend our inalienable rights as our boy Ted the Worthless has?
Maybe then we'd be arguing over how many firearms a household is required to have, what tax breaks would be given based on firearms proficiency, a public honor system for Constitutional knowledge. The border would no longer be an issue nor would punishment for employers hiring illegals. Voter fraud protection?? Done and funded. ANTIFA would never have come into being. And on and on and on. Feel the love. And remember Ted has been a firearms owner and hunter longer than many here have been alive.

What would the men here have done if Obama got a draft going to invade Syria?

We have a professional military now. Used it in Kuwait, Afghanistan and Iraq twice. Why on Earth would it even cross your mind that a draft would be needed for Syria? We haven't had a draft in over 45 years.

Ah, you just have to get your jab in there, and I imagine that was your troll intention from the start. "What this! I'll start a thread about Nugent, then it will certainly get around to his draft status and I can zing both he and Trump in one move. He, he, he!"
You started this solely to stir the pot. You will continue to miserable after Trump is re-elected. What's the jab going to be then? Russians? Bone spurs? Manafort?
You read way too much into my OP. I was genuinely curious why Ted The Mouth was strangely silent. I don't have supernatural powers that let me know what others will post and what direction the thread will go. Like I said in the other thread about Chris Cox, the NRA Board members don't appear to know the first duty of a BoD. They aren't ambassadors or handshakers, they are supposed to watch over the organization and impartially make sure it is being run correctly and the execs are doing what's right for the org (not themselves).

He's a s.o.b for sure, but no other kind can run those countries.

I just wonder about the need to justify this or that.
Lots of talk about draft dodging on both sides of the political isle.
A ground campaign in Syria was so repulsive to the American people that Obama himself had to back off the idea.
I would suspect that a lot of self righteous folks would do what they could to keep from having to sacrifice their kids to the banker types.

The leftist, democrats, liberals, communist, socialist, islamites, lesbians, gays, transgenderism, most of the news media, hollywood, and globalist hate Americans, the Constitution, and the USA. They are all enemies and traitors of America.

The only scenario I could see is the globalist has our professional army spread too thin because they bit off more wars than they can handle. There are still several countries out there with out a Rothschild controlled bank and that eventually will have to be addressed.

All American males have to register with Selective Service when they turn 18. I did in 1981. Haven't been drafted yet.
Jim, did you register?

Ted is an entertainer, and most people do not give a chit what he thinks about politics.....just like any other entertainer.
That being said, I usually agree with Ted's views.

The most salient point I could find in the article about Ted that hatari posted:
"The only objective conclusion that can be made is there's not enough evidence one way or the other".
I think that's the way our Country works should work in regards to accusations, no?
