If you have experience with this rifle in this chambering, please tell me what you think of it.

Thanks, RS

Mine should be in tomorrow, I’ll have a scope mounted on Wednesday night. I’ll try to get to the range on Thursday and report back.

Well, I can say with authority, the FC’s 3” magazine is utterly wasted in the 6.5 CM, but it will surely be a real bonus with a SAAMI spec 308 chamber.

Just finished a range session with it.

I tried 6) different factory 308 offerings and settled with the Federal Premium 168 grain Berger Hybrids. 3) shots just shy of 5/8” at 100 yards.

Barnes 168 TTSX and Nosler Trophy 165 Accubonds were at a inch, the others were 1.25”+

Temp was around 98 with a 2-3 mph crosswind.

My preferred load in my FC 6.5 is 2.900” OAL, so I appreciate the 3” mag.
