Bro!

I used to think you were a dick head.

But after seeing your boat I think we should hang out.

I have an older formula 233 as well. Every year I think about selling it or doing some renovations. Chevy 350 runs like a top, steering gimbal needs work. It's fun to load up and go camping/cruising. Great in some slop.

What ya got? Want? Pics?

I found a really cool 16' flat's boat with 70HP Yamaha the other day. Minn Kota too.

They wanted $7,500. I was very tempted.

Great boats all!

Nice. What are you out there hunting with that 221? Any bullfrogs or do the snakes and gators get them all?

Squirrel hunting?

My "last" boat was an original 31 Bertram. I re powered it with Cummins diesels, repainted the hull, added a teak deck, spruced up the cabin - and fished it quite a bit!

Loved that boat. Storm got it.

Ply over frame?

I’ve been wanting to build one for a while.

Wow that's a beauty!!

I have a 1999 Alumacraft 185 Elite Series with a 50 Merc and a 10 Honda kicker that I fish Pymatuning and Erie with. We've been crushing them out of Conneaut Ohio for the last few weeks.

Uber. Get one and let me know. I’ll show up with beer!

I’m guessing you have pretty quick access to all types of water?
A 17 Montauk would be hard to beat down there, I’d think. Lots of amazing bay boats around now but holy damn, they get spendy quick. Doesn’t seem to be a shortage of overgrown bass boats going for near, or over, 6 figures.

Wow, that's a beauty. Looks like plenty of room and not a lot of horsepower needed to make it run. I have a tiller 25 Johnson, so very close to the 20 you have there.

I wish it had at least a 25hp, but the 20hp starts at a blip of the key and runs great, so I'll just keep on running it.

Yes plywood sides and bottom over a frame. I built it 20yrs ago so I am not up to speed on current kit manufacturers. But it is a very traditional construction and I am relatively sure the current kits are the same. Many of the tricky compound angle cut's were already done by the kit manufacturer. To build one from scratch is do able if you have good woodworking skills and a set of plans.

We have some boats.

I have some sort of aluminium boat with a seized up motor.

Also a 97 Glastron open bow with a blowed up 4.3 liter Volvo penta.

Mom and dad have a 19 foot Phazer Smoker Craft.

It has a 150 Yamaha 2 stroke.

I am MAGA.
