Got back early yesterday and had a great time. Some of the best of our food experiences were;

Richland Family Restaurant, Richland Center WI. Great chicken fried steak.

Mike's in Ironwood MI. The double bacon double cheeseburger was incredible.

Mariner North in Copper Harbor, MI. Best Pizza I've had in a while

Pines Resort Cafe, Copper Harbor MI. As good a breakfast as I've ever found anywhere.

Joey's Seafood, Houghton MI. Lake whitefish lunch special was really good.

Hardcore traveler right here. Probably has a buffalo robe sleeping bag and a spirited pony, not to mention the .50 Sharps in a scabbard.

If it's a long trip for vacation, jerky or beef stick snacks.
We leave early am, and stop for lunch. Usually an independent truck stop.
They are getting rare.

If it's a day trip, a Waffle House for breakfast.
2 pork chops, 2 eggs, toast, hash browns scattered, chilli, onions, cheese.
They bring that on 3 plates.
Then I'm good until evening.

Bojangel's. No trip south without at least one trip to Bo's.
I bring a huge bucket home.
