I would like to see Texas one day.
That is if'n I could find someone to drink cheep beer with me.
I find it hard to trust someone who wont drink a cheep beer. Not impossible.... come on down. I've been known to swill a cheap one now and then. Stop by on the way to Roger's.

They tell me it's worth it, but I dunno. I was never there when it happened. 🤔

I had a decent job offer in Dallas a few years ago. I also had a slightly lower offer in MT. Super glad I picked MT..
BTW I get a kick out of the Muslim's in Upper MI comment. I lived there for 20 years and I cant remember if I saw a single one.

Hamtramck is about as far away from Upper MI as you can get and still remain in the state. The vast majority of Muslims in the state living in the Detroit area, which is an 8 hour ride from where I lived in Upper MI.

Billings is about the only city in the state that has decent wages due to the fact it has three oil refineries.

This thread has been very entertaining. The video in the OP is embarrassing and immediately brought to mind a quote from Dennis Miller about social media: “Never have lives less lived been more chronicled“.
Texas isn’t for everyone and that’s okay. I find it amusing when people trash Texas. Native Texans, and I’m a native, are generally proud to be such and are prone to boasting about it. I know it can be tiresome but I’d rather be that way than the alternative - ashamed. My maternal grandfather was a decent size rancher so I obviously grew up hunting. My father’s family is seriously backwoods Cajun from Port Arthur and growing up crabbing and fishing at Pleasure Island, fishing for bull reds at The Cut when they were running, flounder gigging and seining between High Island and Rollover Pass are memories I wouldn’t trade for anything.
Trash Texas all you want, it doesn’t anger me, it makes me laugh.
Don't roll those bloodshot eyes at me.
