Whether it's in the water or just the power that is awarded when one gets elected many people that run as conservative end up being liberal. Their numbers are legion like Mitt Romney, Joni Ernst, Justin Amash and the list is long. Senate leadership is as liberal as it gets when it comes to spending. It's all about the money and who controls it.
Democrats have been at war with our country for many years they just haven't been so likely to admit it. Now it's unabashed socialism any way you cut it. The sooner we all wake up to that fact the better off we'll be. Representatives in the house are elected every two years so we will have a chance in 2020 to correct the huge mistake we made in 2018. The senate only comes around every six years so it isn't so easy there. Add to the fact that people like Cornyn and McConnell will run as the only choice on the republican side and it really becomes crucial for us to elect as many true conservatives to counter them as possible at every opportunity.
If it were possible to get a convention of states we would go a long way to correcting the entitlement mentality of governance we are saddled with.

Don't take pity on someone who purposefully and intentionally stays in a state of denial of reality. Besides suffering from grandiose delusions, he's also a congenital liar and a poor propagandist. He needs to go back to Democrat underground where no one's allowed to post content outside the narrow lines they've drawn themselves into. His little hit and run forays into the enemy territory of 24hcf have gotten more and more boring over time. At least Paddler can still get a decent rise out of some guys.

As for Joe Scarborough . . . what a complete failure as a husband and father and politician. Possible murderer as well, just like the Clinton's. I served as a volunteer on his congressional campaign back in 1991-2 when I was stationed at NAS Pensacola. He has two little children and a lovely wife. He was a local lawyer in Pensacola, and I have been in his and his parents home many times. He was ultra conservative, parroting Reagan-esque speeches on local TV. As soon as he was elected (the first Republican congressman from Escambia County FL) off he went to DC, and within a year he had left his wife for another woman and abandoned his two little children. He has become an evil man, and a worthless traitor as far as I am concerned. Yep. I remember when he was a Reaganesqe politician. I used to cheer him on when he was speaking on TV. Wow! What a transformation.

Donnie Deutsch has his own show on MSNBC on Saturday nights at 8pm. And I happened to watch it last night.
And he solemnly asked his guests last night "Could it happen here?"
And Deutsch explained, that he meant, could Trump pull off a Hitler-like takeover of America. And Donnie and his guests all agreed that Trump was just the man to do it.
Deutsch went on and on about how "I know Trump" and he said that if Trump loses the vote in 2020 he will not leave office. He said "If we don't stop Trump now he will set America back 50 years."
I didn't know this guy had his own show I just happened across it last night. Even for MSLSD this guy is really out there.
