Yep. After Trump wins 2020, and serves out his final term as a Republican, I’m afraid we will NEVER see another President that’s not a DemoRat ! When Obama won the 2nd term in 2008 I knew then that our country had fundamentally changed. Trump winning in 2016 was a fluke, done by dishonesty, or simply because Hillary was so bad. Probably a combination of all. But I agree, Trump is the LAST conservative president of my lifetime, and I have serious doubts he wins in 2020. And I blame Trump for this. He has destroyed the Republican party. It no longer exists. We now have the Trump party, the democratic party and the socialist party. When Trump goes out either in 2020 or 2024 all of the Trump party members will go too. He's wasted his presidency. He had a chance to convince moderates who voted for him in 2016 that they did the right thing. Instead his incompetence has pushed moderates to the left. .................................LOL>>>>LOL....... Obama won his 2nd term in 2012 not in 2008. Trump winning in 2016 was NOT a fluke!!.....Obama's failed presidency,,,in many ways CREATED the Trump presidency and the fact that Hillary was a corrupt and poor candidate was also a factor. Your serious doubts about Trump winning next year are merely that and should be dis-regarded. You under-estimate Trump. And exactly how has Trump destroyed the republican party? It no longer exists you say??? Trump's incompetence has pushed moderates to the left?? LMAO.....That is a joke! If moderates go left. then it is their fault,,not Trump's......

Funny how the GOP is the only party to have been found to be committing voter fraud, illegal voter restrictions, and denying access.

Gosh I sure do miss George Bush and Obamas roaring economy. We need more globalist Republicans to embrace socialism, carbon taxes, open borders and free healthcare and college for the the third world. Yep. JMR40 and Others
Trump is saving the Republican Party that was going along so well with Paul Ryan (who had me fooled when he ran with Romney) and McCain mentality Rats. He is the first President or politician that I can recall actually keeping or trying to keep promises from the election trail. He has exposed the Media for what they are and dumb asses like Romney still want their love and affection even after they lied about him. That beast Crowley in the second debate screwed blued and tattoo'd him when he put Zero on the ropes.
I have news for Mitt and the other never Trumpers...all of the spying and Russia Hoax done by Zero's administration on DJT was similarly done to him albeit on a smaller scale in the 2012 election. That is why they were so emboldened in 2016. They had already ran that scam before without penalty.
Side Note....Don't you know Zero and his circle have a real deep hate for Hillary being lazy with her campaigning that they just KNOW she had in the bag. She blew it from their POV because Trump couldn't beat the establishment. No way!

Be NOT deceived, NO current DIMocRAT has a prayer of carrying Texas. = Fyi, I'm a Presiding Election Judge in Bexar County, of over 3 decades experience in Bexar & 2 other jurisdictions & I know more than a little about this subject.
It's time for you & everyone else (who doesn't have their finger on the pulse of Texas voters) to STOP listening to LEFTISTS, network "talking heads" & other people who are either ignorant, LYING, engaging in wishful thinking OR are actually paid DIMocRATS operatives.
Imo, if I could give you advice: Believe NO polls, as NONE of them are accurate. = You could be just as accurate by flipping a coin in each race. (For example, in Bexar County where I work the polls, "the BEST polling" only missed the vote count in the Statewide & federal races by slightly more than 15% in 2014 & 2016.).
I also recommend NOT paying an attention to EXIT POLLS, as voters regard telling anyone how they voted with deep suspicion. = According to the "exit polls" in 2016, HRC won both of my team's precincts by 25% & 27%. Actually HRC won ONE precinct by about 1.2% & LOST the other precinct by 6.1%
yours, tex

yours, tex This is true. Every bit of it. And tex should know, since he can rig every election. That's the way it is and the way it will always be.

I would look for lots of voter fraud in Texas this 2020 election. Maybe more voting than voter fraud. Republicans shouldn't have a worry in the world

The Democratic party is a continuing criminal enterprise everywhere. They intend to and will, if given half a chance, win elections by any means. Voter fraud is only one of their options. The flooding of the borders with illegals who game our asylum system is another ploy. They need to shown to all that they are Marxists at heart and defeated on every occasion. Texas is not the only state at risk.
One more election one more time and it is OVER for the country we love. Doesn't sound like you love it enough. Have any kids you might like to preserve it for? I do. I'll die for them. Is the entire country full of nothing but lame-assed cowards? Seems to be!
We may know the time Ben Carson lied, but does anyone know the time Hillary Clinton told the truth?
Immersing oneself in progressive lieberalism is no different than bathing in the sewage of Hell.

Be NOT deceived, NO current DIMocRAT has a prayer of carrying Texas. True, but it's getting closer. Beto coming so close got the Dems all revved up, that was someone of a special case in that Cruz hasn't ever really knocked it out of the park on the campaign trail. But Texas is getting more than 2,000 people a week move in from other states (not counting illegal immigration), most of those are from the west coast and the north east and are moving to urban areas. As the state gets more urbanized over the next decade or two it runs the risk of becoming like California where a few large metro areas wag the dog.

Once again, why fences on both the southern and the northern borders would be ideal.
It's official. I missed the selfie deadline so I'm Maser's sock puppet because rene and the Polish half of the fubar twins have decided that I am.

My best friend from college moved back to Texas after being in Colorado and California for 30 years. He and his wife (native Californian) couldn't get out of there fast enough after they retired. Fortunately, he and his wife are conservative and Trump voters. I remined him yesterday on the phone to get registered to vote and start voting in the upcoming November elections (against the state income tax proposal). I hope we can keep Texas red, and re-elect Trump for a second term.

Fwiw, the "transplants" from "damnyankeeland", that I've met pretty quickly get "the Texas attitude". - Their children will be TEXICANS & their grandchildren will deny that anyone in their family was ever anything but "Pure-blooded Texican".
yours, tex.

Is worded weird but if it passes they would have to do a constitutional amendment to do an income tax in the future. If the “no’s” win then a simple vote would allow them to tax income in the future

yours, tex. There's no doubt that some do assimilate very well. On the other hand, a large number of them bring the "goodness" of where they came from with them to Texas and they try to hand it off to others here.
