He is very sensitive. No idea why. Half the boomers are like Greyghost, a quarter have a hard on for another civil war..........and a quarter seem okay.
The world thanks you for all those participation ribbons you handed out.

I've never whined about anything as much as you whine about the Boomer generation.
I guess being born in 1960 puts me as a tail end boomer or an early gen x-er depending on who you talk to. I don't really care I think they're both a bunch of idiots.
One of my grandsons, who is going into the 5th grade this coming year brought a math workbook to my house today. His Mom said you need to get back into school mode, summer vacation is nearly over.
I watched for a while, him mouthing numbers and counting fingers. I tried to stay out of it but couldn't resist.
They were word problems like "if 28 kids read 1000 pages at the library in three days how many pages did each kid read?"
I punched a hole in that theory right off the bat. How do you know who read what? So I divided 1000 pages by 28 kids by doing the long math I learned in school to get the average.
I was informed by my grandson I was doing it wrong and that's NOT how the teacher wants them to do math. Something about multiples of 9.
Vox day is always ranting about the Boomer generation on his blog. He's about 50. I commented to him one day,.....told him to ramp it up,..but by the time anybody decided to do anything about it, he'd be old enough to qualify.
A few days ago some young guy called him a Boomer in the comment section of his podcast.
I wish I could have told him, "See?",...but I don't have an account on youtube.
My kids, grandkids and all the GWOT vets in my training group think I am cool so who am I to argue. I have yet to have a young person w/ an opinion that I value blame the state of the world on an age group as opposed to holding the ignorant responsible.
Those that actually talk to young people on a regular basis, face to face, probably gain a different insight than can be garnered from anonymous internet sources. There is a real world out there and some folks actually venture forth and experience the wonder that is reality.
Our world today presents a myriad of challenges, whether your location is Montana or Kentucky. Name calling, and classifying human qualities by any narrow criteria is the refuge of the feeble minded and the oppressed. If you are oppressed it is probably because you are weak and refuse to learn. Generational conflict is just plain stupid.
