I told him when his 6 months rolled around he would get his raise problem was he couldn’t get to work til 9:30 10am and I explained to him that if he showed up from 8-5 he’d make the same money as if he had a raise and would help me out more by me not waiting on him to get there he also signed a non compete clause when he was hired and what done him in was he went threw my files and took my original I found that out and offered for him to give it back and get his ass back to work he showed up later after closing and turned in his keys and uniforms I would have told you to gofuckyourself! Sure hope that was sarcasm. Not showing up on time and going through your employers files??? The latter is not just grounds for firing. That is grounds for an ass kickin! Well he would have got his ass kicked or kicked mine then, cause I ain’t scaaaared!

paying an xtra $1/hr would be far more cost effective than beating up a good employee just for going through the filing cabinet.

"Just enough to keep them from leaving" is actually the correct amount to pay. Labor is nothing more than an necessary evil in providing a good or service. so those that pay more generously with the business thriving are running the show the wrong way?
So he was worth the raise but you let him go.............Hard to wrap my head around that one....
number crunchers often know the price of things but not the true value of them. Its like them folks that say they cannot afford the accident insurance, yet seem to think they can still afford an accident ..  Since you’re a dumbazz, I don’t guess an answer to the question would benefit you much.

It does matter cause he went to bed still thinking it, and trying to justify saving an xtra $1/hr . clearly the money played a big part in his decision.

so you don't know that if you want a business to do well, the needed good employees to make it possible , can cost more ....enough said. how many businesses have been ruined or crippled by number crunchers who drive good productive workers away yet cannot get rid of the lowest payed poor return value ones cause they are desperate even for low paid workers. therein lies the difference between wisely investing in the price of good workers vs just trying to save money to lose money.
