so you don't know that if you want a business to do well, the needed good employees to make it possible , can cost more ....enough said.

how many businesses have been ruined or crippled by number crunchers who drive good productive workers away
yet cannot get rid of the lowest payed poor return value ones cause they are desperate even for low paid workers.

therein lies the difference between wisely investing in the price of good workers vs just trying to save money to lose money.
