Paddler is one of the few good ones in the Campfire section. I'd rather Rick Bin "flush" all the racists, homophobes, xenophobes, and other undesirable elements. There's no excuse to merrily use racial slurs to refer to black people or Muslims, homophobic slurs, etc. Yet I see it all the time. Simply put, you're in the wrong neigjborhood, dude. If you allow "Those types" to get under your skin they have gained some traction.....The ignore feature is a very useful tool, in my senior years I try to navigate away from people, conversations or situations that could / would cause me stress. Paddler is nothing more than a self absorbed, self important, liberal socialist that thinks his professional credentials should automatically allow him special privileges and respect, but that backfired on him though when his multiple negative patient review testimonies and poor professional ratings were exposed. I strongly suspect he has been the whinny, backstabbing, tattletale, instigator, run and hide when confronted type most, if not all his life, too. Some people like the insane standing up and ranting in their church service. 1A and all that. Others just think it's ok for sorry bastids to throw a turd through an open window and run.

Stopping free speech is what the intolerant left does... and the intolerant wing of the right. Rick can ban anyone he wants, but I think he is wiser than to ban anyone for political speech, no matter how foolish and vicious it reveals the poster's position to be.
I'd rather Rick ban the Edge pop-ups. Paddler and his ilk have never caused me to leave the 'Fire but the Edge ads have.

Trolls making incendiary posts get an incredible number of responses here.
Higher traffic = higher revenue from selling advertising.
Trolls actually help keep conservative sites online.
Don't want trolls on the site? Don't respond to their posts. Better yet, let their post be the end of any thread. IMHO they will stay until then, it's a business decision.
