Wayne will not and cannot afford to resign. The only way he will leave is in handcuffs, but he has a well financed NRA legal team that will fight that until the NRA fortune is completely drained. Don't even consider that Wayne might resign.

Send NO dues or donations to NRA.
NRA declares bankruptcy, and is restructured.
WLP gravy train ends and he, as well as corrupt board members, go away.
NRA rebuilds from the ashes minus its old liabilities.

Like others on this thread, I also told the solicitors that called for money that I wouldn't be supporting the NRA financially until Lapuke was gone. Likewise the answer didn't seem to surprise the caller.

Some simply can't resist taking advantage of a fat hog when they see one.

Once served as an officer and board member of an exempt organization where some were taking advantage of their positions. More stress in those two years as an officer than I experienced in my entire professional career. Exited on the very day my commitments were completed.

I think NRA has a bit of swamp that needs draining.

Good riddance. Get rid of the rest of the celebrity tokens right along with them.

The NRA needs people and leadership who are dedicated to the shooting sports and gun rights issues FULL TIME not as a resume padding paid side gig. People who quit, cut n run the first time a little effort is required, I'm glad to see who is for real and who is just there to party and be rid of them.

Shaking the do nothing dead wood out of the membership ain't a bad thing either.

Well won't GOA and all the quitters in this thread be picking up the slack? Get out there and show Wayne how it is really done.

Was it the right 3? I always suspect the ones who leave are forced out behind the scenes.
I am going to find out if the gun club has a charter that requires membership

Not sure about the "right three". I think some of the good ones are getting out before the ax falls.

The ones that need to leave are by and large still there, circling the wagons.

Many do. I suspect it has something to do with the NRA providing range insurance.

I am betting Childress was told by NASCAR to quit. The new totally anti Second Amendment stance of NASCAR would not work with him on the NRA board.
