The Europeans discovered the "magic" of the 6.5 caliber....a little over a century before the geniuses of the American firearms world did. Bingo! Wow, that looks older than your grill!

I've owned 3 6.5 CM's, and sold them all. Was going to order another, either a Model 700 Mountain Rifle, or one of the new Model 7's with the HS Precision stock. But, have about changed my mind, as I like the looks of the new 700 American Hunter rifle better, or may just get another 700 with the 24 inch barrel and go from there.
I don't use the Creed for anything but deer hunting, and though I like it, I could live without one.

Not yet.
I've a number of other rifles.
Ain't planning to start reloading again til I retire, though.
So every time I drop $32+ on the factory 120 BT load my .260 CTR shoots into .3s I tear up like Ironeyes Cody did around litter.
...And ponder latching onto a S'man's Ho'haus Superlite Creed or threaded Fieldcraft at the brand new store in my town!

I don’t, but have a Winchester M70 Swede. I am milling over the 6.5 PRC though. That cartridge seems to be a bigger step.

I had one in Model 16 Weather Warrior stainless. It shot very accurately and recoiled about like my daughter's .243W. But I never took a liking to it and a girl I went to church with wanted it and her husband offered me a price which was what I had paid for it and the scope, sling, etc. I figured I had other rifles I liked better so I let them have it. It was a good rifle but not exceptional for what I do. I don't shoot 600 yard targets.

I now own one. Think I’ll use it deer hunting this year. Shoots Berger factory ammo with the 135 classic hunter into tiny groups.

I have had a 260 since 2003. As a guy that hunts and rarely shoots beyond 200 yards, and also handloads, I do not see any advantage of the Creedmoor over my 260. If I had to buy factory ammo, I may be tempted to go the Creedmoor route due to the many types of ammo available.
......the occasional hunter wielding a hopelessly inaccurate rifle, living by the fantastical rule that this cartridge can deliver the goods, regardless of shot placement or rifle accuracy. The correct term for this is minute of ego.

I’ve got 2 6 Creed’s ... close but no cigar ? .264 - 7.5% = .244... you’ve got a 92.5% Creedmoor.
