My G19 w/ 16 rounds weighs 31 oz. It carries easily AIWB w/ a Montana Sling Co. belt while wearing shorts and a polo. I truly don't understand why people settle for lesser weapons, it is not that hard to dress around a high cap pistol and an extra mag or 2.

All we've been told is he is white. Like they told us Zimmerman was white.

If the shooter is a hispanic MS13 illegal variety, that's still 'white' to the press.

18 ounces with an empty mag is too heavy for you?

I didn't realize what kind of shape you were in. Best of luck to you.

You're so cute. And special. Thank you so much for your many contributions, they are invaluable and give those of us with little reason to live a little more hope. God bless you.

FB,
There's a wide variation in the health and condition of our members. I didn't realize you were at a place in your life where 22 oz loaded is "too heavy", so despite our differences I'm wishing you the best.

You didn't use logic or reason to get into this opinion, I cannot use logic or reason to get you out of it.

Could be, I did see where they said a criminal history was attached to his drivers license.

Looks pretty White... probable a Democrat though... "Ator’s social media footprint has been erased"

Texas Killer Identified as Seth Aaron Ator
By S.Noble -
September 1, 2019

The deceased shooter who killed seven people and injured at least 20 more in West Texas Saturday has been identified as Seth Aaron Ator who lived in Ector County, Odessa.
The shooter has a criminal record.

The shooting spree began when a Texas state trooper tried to stop his Honda for failing to signal a left turn. Ator shot into the trooper’s car and wounded one. There was no active warrant on him.

The 36-year-old continued into Odessa, Texas, and shot another person on the Interstate. In Odessa, he abandoned the Honda, hijacked a United States Postal Service truck, killed the driver, and continued to shoot people before police cornered and killed him in a short firefight in the parking lot of a Cinergy movie theater.
He used a rifle.

Seven people were killed, twenty others injured, including ten critically. Among the injured, there are three police officers: a Texas state trooper, a Midland police officer, and an Odessa police officer.
The motive is still unknown.

A search of online records for Seth Ator brings up a charge of “Criminal Trespass” from August 1, 2001, which was a Class B Misdemeanor. A second charge for evading arrest was filed the next day. The record shows that Ator issued a guilty plea in that case and received a sentence of 24 months on probation.
Heavy is looking into additional records with the Texas Department of Public Safety for more details.
Ator’s social media footprint has been erased.

They may have made some mistakes in the heat of the moment but at least the cops didn't run and hide like the chit bags in FL did.

In Campfire style, it's the cops fault.

From what I've seen the LEO's did a stellar job.

The shooter appeared to have been pursued by numerous cops from numerous agencies.

They stopped his progress and promptly killed him.

3 cops were shot in the process.

So what “else” could have been done? Answer?

Nada...

What you carry and how you carry has a lot to do with your location, and what's going on the area.

Even in my tractor I carry an AR with 40 rounds in mags, a 1911 with 18 rounds in mags and another 50 in a box.

Had to use the tractor AR quickly day before yesterday.

Dam Barry......with my back I couldn't get in the truck with that load let alone climb in a tractor.

Fortunately our situations are pretty different.

My truck/CC gun is a S&W snubbie loaded with Wad Cutters but I'm a lot more likely to use it for dispatch after a Deer/Vehicle accident than self defense.

I seldom carry but since ID saw fit to pass Constitutional Carry I feel obliged every now and then.

when i was living in Odessa, we'd drive down the back roads and kill jackrabbits with baseball bats, only thing of any significance that happened was when that little girl Jessica got stuck in that well. it was a pretty boring place.

Because you can’t. The “cop” couldn’t have been there any quicker, because he was already there and what happened, happened.

Unfortunately....
