I'm considering the somewhat new Maven RS.2 2-10x38 scope and am interested in the experience of people who have looked through, owned or used this scope.

How would you compare optical performance to a Swarovski z3 3-9x36 which seems to be the natural competitor?

Better hope the company lasts it’s a micro brand. If they don’t and you have a problem you are stuck

I don't have the Maven but have had a few Z3s. I've never had an issue but have read they may not be ideal for a heavy kicker.. I don't need to look at anything past the listed 2.3" of eye relief on the Maven to make that call

The Swarovski Z3 is a great and reliable scope and at the price it is these days it is a real go to optic. It would be our pleasure to assist you with one

The most common scope on my hunting rifles is the Kahles 2-7x36. Whilst many were running around like headless chickens when Kahles representation changed because they perceived there would be no factory support, I quietly bought up a number of high quality scopes which continue to work today on my h7nting rifles.

After Kahles I like the Leupold low magnification scopes on heavy recoil rifles, and then Swarovski on longer ranged hunting rifles (particularly the z5 series)..

II'm still interested in any real experiences with the RSI.2 and how it may compare with the little z3 which I do regard well as a hunting scope.
