I have hummingbirds all year in Oregon, coming from other places, I was surprised. Gets pretty cold, but as soon as the sun comes up they are there. We take our feeder in on nights below freezing so they can get an early start.

I leave mine up all year round, tho months can go by with none at all. Mike, I saw some on the 26th of December a few years ago, in Mathis, Tx. Cousin has a place there on Lake Corpus Christi. I saw more birds there that I have never seen, than any other place that I have been. Green Jays amazed me the first time that I saw them. miles

Here in Utah, it's like the strings and brass say about the woodwinds: it's all oboe.

I just wish the little buggers would put in the effort to learn the words.
Not a real member - just an ordinary guy who appreciates being able to hang around and say something once in awhile.
Happily Trapped In the Past (Thanks, Joe)
Not only a less than minimally educated person, but stupid and out of touch as well.
