And what, pray tell, could you charge the officer with after seeing that video?? The outcome of a decision like that would have a large impact on whether I remained on the force were I a cop in that town. That's nuts. He just barely fought his way to survival. Anything less would have resulted in his bleeding out on the pavement. Has there ever been a more clear cut case of justified lethal force??

Well, that cop got upset. I've NEVER heard that at all. I"ve had some encounters that were a bit weird but you never know what all is going on when you are pulled over anyway. But I've NEVER had one talk down to me at all. In fact have only managed one speeding ticket through it all. If they are talking down, IMHO someone else started them on that roll

Geez that happened fast.... Randy, we were taught the "21 foot" rule from day one. Someone with a knife has the advantage when they run at you even if you are alert and focused.
