I don’t see flutes or a floorplate - first gen awr should be a McMillan. Does the barrel have a simple stamp with the chambering designation?

I currently have a first generation AWR 700 7mm Rem mag. Great shooter. The Kevlar stock and ADL configuration make them very light. Yes, First Generation was a custom shop rifle.

AK,I'll find out tomorrow. These were custom shop rifle's correct? Correct. The first gen was essentially the mag ks with a black stock and a coating. The rifle you posted is adl with smooth barrel (best I can tell from pictures) correct?

Those were made around 2008 if I recall in 300 RUM. McMillan made the KS stock for them in the late 80's. I would say B&C also.

You recall correctly as to the introduction of the AWRII - both you and RinB would be correct if it turns out to be the latter. I don’t believe it will.

No barrel code's on barrel just caliber stamping.

That's a McMillan stock with a black Teflon finish over Stainless.
Those early AWR's are one of my favorite.

No barrel code's on barrel just caliber stamping. If truly no barrel code then it’s in that ‘99-‘01 timeframe - which works for the rum introduction as well. Did it come home with you?

I have an AWR in 7mm SAUM - it's a Micky stock.
And it's one of the few rifles in the safe that just won't ever get sold. What a great tool!
