I Just bought a Spyderco Shaman. It looks like a larger Native 5. The locking mechanism is different, though. They call it a "compression lock". It appears to be like a liner lock but you disengage it from the back side so that your fingers aren't in the way when you're closing it. I like it even though it's a little big for EDC for me. I got it for traveling to places where I can't carry a handgun.

Only have one, Very nice! I had two of them lost one and snapped one doing chit it wasn't designed to be doing! Wish I still had one. That is a KEEPER
