Sweet! What kind of scope? Burris FFII 2-7x 35mm BP for right now; got a Weaver K4-60B on the way from the ‘fieds which I believe is the perfect .22 lr scope. Last week she shot my Marlin bolt .22 and loved it; had a feeling she’d love this little rig I’d had stashed in the back of the safe waiting for a reason to come out.

Drove from Ely, Nv. to Burley, Id w/ a world class breakfast in Wells, Nv on the way. Hwy 93 from Wells to Jackpot was spectacular w/ fresh snow on the Rubys and a true bluebird day. Fine dining on the agenda tonight w/ Jimmy Johns delivered to the room. Will head for Jackson, Wy. tomorrow, Life is good.

It was a nice day. Too nice to be working! Take note of the thin windrow of alfalfa. It's been so long since 1st cutting that the whitetail have literally grazed down the edges of fields.
