I have not used Lyrica but I currently use Gabapentin for nerve damage caused by an amateur back surgeon. I suggest you use the minimum amount needed to be comfortable. Not perfectly pain free but to be comfortable. If you use to much you don't feel a thing and it's like dragging a dead arm or leg around. You may need those nerve endings to discover if you have any other issues silently boiling up. My thoughts and prayers are going your way for improved health.
