Nissan had it right on the side of the block in open sight.

Moved it under the AC compressor at a double angle.
One could still see the original location in the blocks casting.
Sure the engineers moved to to make it as cumbersome as possible.

Once one figured out the double angle then it was fairly easy, tough still harder to reach.
