Nice!
44.8g of IMR 4451 at 3000. Kimber Hunter 22inch barrel, 8 twist. 120 Nosler Ballistic Tip does about the same. If I return to Newfoundland this year looking for Moose steaks the 6.5 Creedmoor with the above TTSX loads goes with me.

I have NEVER been let down by any TTSX or LRX. They run well and do the deed well. Good luck working up a load, shouldn't be hard!

120 TTSX along with the 120 E-Tip are twins regarding performance and among the most accurate in my 26 Nosler. At 3,450 fps, they can be quite destructive on critters. At Creed speed, they should be less destructive, but should work well.

At Swede and Creed speed, I lean more toward the 123 and 139 Scenar.

Forgot we are in the long range forum, I would lean towards the 127 LRX if I needed to use a copper bullet, but I use the 139 scenar in my 260 AI these days

We shoot them, but the Barnes 127g LR are easier to tune and proved to be more accurate in a bunch of 6.5's.

Haven't tried them in the Creed or Swede, but in the 26 Nosler, the 120 TTSX and 120 E-Tips were more accurate than the 127 LRX., roughtly half MOA vs. near MOA at 400 yds. Both would work.

They do very well in my .260 Rem and group exactly 1.5 inches higher than my 120 gr Nosler BT loads at 100 yds. Gives me 2 options for ammo depending on what and where I'm hunting as long as I remember which loads I have in the gun.

This is what I’m doing in my (too) slow twisted 6.5-06

Yep that’s what I’ll be doing when I get a properly twisted tube installed..

In a Creed I’d do what DF suggested & go 123 Lapua.

When I read DF I see that he tends to know his stuff. Credible.

Just loaded up some 100gr TTSX in my 260 doing about 2975. Hopefully I'll have a report this weekend. Should be a good killer.

Any particular reason why you stopped there?

You can push those TTSX 100's up to 3,250 fps. in the 260 Rem.

Could use a different powder to get faster, but used what I had. 99% of shots will be under 100yds, so don't need it to be 10% faster. And not gunna mess with .5 MOA accuracy.

Barnes has a list of powders, the slowest top load well into the upper 3,100's, most above 3,200 fps.
