To add to the above question, would a 9.5 twist work at 4000 feet. Is so, what do you think the slower velocity and twist with due to the BC? I read Hornady says on The bc and the twist required but I am tempted to give them a try for fun. I can load to 2.95

Stick wasn't this crazy before he lost a child;that would make me nuttier than him. I wish that I was close enough to be a friend, I bet he's alright in person and being his friend would probably be a hoot.

How about it Stick, you want to come hunt with us in Alabama this year? Seriously.

Don't be in a hurry,to make such a bad decision. Hint.

Bless your heart.

Hey Stick, what twist with the 180s and 7mm08?

You'll wanne be 1-8",to contend atmospherics. Hint. Congratulations?!?

Intellestingly enough,the .308" Hornie 208 'Max in a Whizzum or Winny Mag,haven't the mettle to hang with the "itty-bitty" 7-08/180 melding. That in either a 3" '70 platform,or a L/A H&H lengthed 700. I've a "hunch",that I prolly shoot 'em all. (grin) Hint.

POS Winny Krassic 30 Whizzum,with 208's and a MacaMillion upgrade...which a "lowly" 7-08 stomps. Hint.

Now as "minimum" Gross RPM goes(which is a lineal calculation),things get ugly quickly, with but a modest "change". COAL means absolutely fhuqking NOTHING in said equation,as the heartbeat of ALL rifles is predicated upon the melding of RPM,COAL Latitude and Throat Geometry. A stretched Retard Twistrate COAL,only adds fhuqking HUMOR. Hint.

To the chagrin of CLUELESS Fhuqking Window Lickers everywhere, there isn't an '06 load to contend the half inch shorter case. Why ?!? Boolits matter wayyyyyyyyyyy more than headstamps.HINT.

Pardon my shooting it all and then some. Hint.

Bless you CLUELESS Fhuqking Droolers for Whining and doing your best.

Hint.

LAUGHING!....................
