I have been salivating over this scope to go atop the 9.3x62 I am building, at 1.7 it would be near ideal in the dense woods when hunting bear and yet have enough magnification to be able to identify and place shots on targets within the reasonable range of the 9.3. I have had great luck with the Meoptas I have, I have them on all my hunting rifles for about 15 years, never found the zero to move and they provide great low light performance at a price that mere mortals can afford. What's not to like.
