I buy gas cans at Canadian Tire for my pilot friends every year.......similar to cans available here but without all the "safety" gimmicks on the spout. Standing on a tundra tire to fuel a Supercub while sliding and twisting safety valves is a nightmare.

Not sure what jugs are in CA but prime gets you 2 race fuel jugs for 65 bucks or so appx. at least says so on the net. I've taken all the safety crap off ours here, put vents in them and just keep on...
And one might find all kinds of parts of one safety system around 1402 mile or so once when I was totally pissed off....

You can get lawyer-free spouts at Tractor Supply and Harbor Freight if they are near where your new truck is. Amazon also carries them. Might have time yet to receive an order.
