7 SAUM is making a bunch of headway in F class ...
It’s got me thinking about getting a second bolt for my Vector in case I want to jump up from my 6 Creed at competition.
Do we have any 7 SAUM (stupid name remington ) on the fire anymore

I'm a fan! What do you want to know?

Big fan here! I have a first gen Remington 700 Ti with a Zeiss Conquest ZPlex 600 reticle. It loves the 140 TTSX and IMR 4350 at about 3075 fps. Under .5 MOA all day!
The lack of planning on your part does not constitute an emergency on my part!

Big fan here. Just was contemplating getting some 150 ELD X and seeing what it would do with RL17.

I'm in Retumbo and 180 ELD mode but it is certainly a very versatile cartridge...

Have a couple , a Model 7 that usually slings 120's and 140's and a M700 with Sendero barrel that shoots 168's . Have considered selling them from time to time but don't. 7saum really works well and brass life is great.

Mine is a custom rifle made on a Rem Model 7 action. I like it. Hunting only.

Getting ready to do load work up in a Montana with a new 7 SAUM barrel.
Going to start with 180 Scenars and see what happens.

I run two of them and have yet to find anything in the SA that I prefer more as to speed, barrel life, bullet selection and powder usage.
One is a light weight custom rig 22" mag contour in a Boyds thumbhole LW that prints just about everything in the 140-162 class 1/4 ish moa with H4831 SSC. The other I sold recently to build a Helix Carbon Sendero contour 22" set up chambered for the 162 ELDM that should print way better than I can run her.

I love mine. I've killed moose, caribou, elk, and mule deer with mine using 162 A-Max and Reloader 17. It provides good terminal performance with reasonable recoil in a rifle of modest weight.
Suck bullets simply suck.

I have one in a Model Seven SS with a 22” barrel. It’ll shoot 160 grain Partitions at 2980fps with RL26. IMR7828SSC was very close to that velocity, as well.

I have a Remington 700 in 7 RSAUM. I have yet to begin load work. My two month vacation begins Nov 15th & I will be camped at the range for hours per day. I have numerous guns for load work & the 7 RSAUM is the priority.
By the way, in case you missed it, Jeremiah was a bullfrog.

With 162gn AMAX I have found H1000 and Retumbo to be useful.
Retumbo gives slightly higher velocities with less pressure ~ 3100fps for the 162gn bullet. H1000 works well too, but I run the slower powder now.

I have a remington 700 stainless. I'm using 150 gr. partitions with 67 grs. of H-1000 this year. 3052 fps. I like it a lot.

Do any of you guys have any loads with re-26? Yes...sort of. I have a bunch of trial sets ready to shoot with the 150 gr Nosler ABLR. Rifle is a Ruger 77 Mk II, (shiny) stainless/synthetic.

I have one in the first generation Rem 700 Titanium Mountain Rifle that I've never fired.
I need to get set up to handload for it. Factory fodder is mighty slim.
