This time of year does not let a farmer, even an old "retired", farmer a lot of time to have fun.

We need to make a parts run, and will bob into Walmart to see about Jake's Cromebook that does not work. Cat food, and dog food while we are there. You folks know all about working long hours.

I know I heard John Cash sing this, but these folks do just fine.

Right there with ya. Just finished up walnut harvest and running the huller. 45 12 hour days straight. Love and hate at the same time.

I’ve been working 60 hours a week, but do get overtime. You farmers-ranchers work hard!

Still been working trying to get all my ranch projects shredded.

May have another month or more of full blast until it slows...

Gotta make hay while the sun is shining.

I don't have much to do this time of year but feed the cows once or twice a week. Of course, that's not counting the everyday chores, and the feeding and care of horses, chickens, pets, checking on the cows, making sure water isn't froze, etc., etc.
