Like Blue Ribbon Pabst and Jim Beam I'm old school. Federal Blue Box first and Remington Core Lokt a distant second.

It seems a lot of my handloads, nowadays, are housed inside of Federal brass which came courtesy of blue box ammo.

Are you experiencing enlarged primer pockets in Federal cases that some have?

Wow, some of you know a lot about factory ammo. I shoot almost none of it, so I'll just have to accept what I'm reading.

I typically buy factory ammo on sale some for the brass. My 270 gets Winchester brass so I buy 150 grain Power Points the rest have been wearing federal for a while, especially my 308. Factory ammo stores well also.
